Projects
Building quoting tools for machine shops. Developed system to provide instant quote and design feedback for manufacturing projects.
Three month AI-first engineering sprint. Built 7 applications with AI features working 90-100 hours per week.
Turned an RC car into a self-balancing 2-wheeled bot. Upcoming:
☐ camera streaming over wifi.
☐ exploratory self driving using an NN.
☐ VSLAM.
☐ autonomous point-to-point driving.
A fun website that turns photos into cross stitch patterns. My wife uses it and she's a regular user, so that's definitely a win. Learned webgl to speed it up.
Started animating the solar system in javascript and I've been having fun with it.
Thinking about adding satellites, click for info on celestial bodies, other galaxies, shading/textures...
Wrote a minimax w/alpha-beta pruning algorithm that plays Mancala pretty well. Beats random 100%, beats wife 100% when going first, competitive with wife when going second. Also trained a Deep Q-Learning model that beat random moves 90% of the time.
I built Gifty, a mobile app for creating and organizing wishlists. You can add products from anywhere on the internet for family and friends to reference when they buy you a gift.
I've designed 7 unique playing card decks for a small group of fans.
This is a Web3 game built on the Internet Computer blockchain. I built the backend for the game: handling the minting and distribution of NFTs, NFT-gated access, and cheating prevention.
whatado
Whatado was a social network for people to make connections based on activities. You would post what you're planning to do, others in the area would see it and ask to join. I'm happy with how it turned out - it performed and looked great.
backend
mobile app
Slideshows + Music app. Built to motivate and help you focus. Turns out it violates Spotify's API terms of use, so it only works for me :/ Had a nice design, though.
identity theft
Made a board game with some friends for fun. It's a pretty fun game - we still play it every once in a little while. There's an app that goes with it as well.
kickstarter
mobile app
topsecret hunts
In college I created a Django website, followed by a React Native app to host treasure hunts. I built treasure chests and hid them around the city with QR codes and candy. Using the site/app you get your clue which leads you to the chest where you'll scan the code to get the next clue. Gave out thousands of $ in prizes.
